It's not the base model though - the base model is the OP7 at £500, which is effectively an improved OP6T, and a very reasonable deal (given that it's 128gb). This is OP's attempt at a proper flagship with some pretty high end features, such as the screen and storage transfer speeds.

The OP7 is the equivalent base model and that starts at £499.

It's possible to interpret it that way, but I disagree. The OP7 is the 6T in new clothes.

Therefore the true replacement for the 6 is the OP7 Pro. Otherwise it simply isn't an upgrade.

The 6 was the premium model, so replacing it with a cut-price / feature one doesn't make sense.
