Mine arrived very early this morning. It a CCBWE 0550UPMW 2.8GHZ stable @ 1.425v, Temps were superb - 25 IDLE, 36 LOAD - Air Cooled Arctic Freezer 64 PRO

Theres more in her. Had her running at 2.9ghz, but not stable. More tweaking required. Fine processors these Opty's

Would i be right in thinking that a 170 when clocked to 2.6 is basically the same as an FX60 or are there some other differences?

a 2600mhz 170 would surely be in practice a little bit faster than a stock FX60 due to the FSB and probably memory speed boost to reach that

I have 165 opty @ 2.7, i want to know how to run two intsances of prime95 to test for stability?

I've heard that you have to do some kind of short cut hack?

I just installed 2 copies of prime, called one prime(2nd) then ran then both at the same time. Then set the affinity so each runs on a seperate core

i've ran 3dmark06 on mine at 2.7ghz 1.6v
i am now in the process of burning it in
sp2004 stable @ 2.5ghz 1.6v for 8 hrs
sp2004 stable @ 2.6ghz 1.6v for 8 hrs

i will now try 2.7 and see how it fairs, then i'll try lowering the volts

yes try lowering the vcore.
1.6 is a bit high imo

It didnt need 1.6v to be stable did it?

it's stable at 2.6ghz @ 1.4v
not tried any higher clocks at this voltage yet. i think i need to try different HTT multi and ram divider settings.

The reason i had 1.6v going through was cos i was being impatience and trying to get to them uber clocks!! i've been burning it in for a couple of days now so it should be a tad better.

i couldn't get it sp2004 stable at 2.75+ for more than 4 hours but i'm still testing, any helpful hints?

Just fired up my new Opti 170. Straight in @ 2.61 1.36V. Temps are a little higher than my Sandy @2.6 1.52V. Idling it is at 40C. full load both cores 45C. It may tke a while for the Artic Silver to settle i guess.

Very impressed with the chip I am sure 2.8 is more than achievable with some tweaking.
