*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

All this adding additional controllers to multiplay is annoying. Played FIFA with my mate earlier, and you have to add the second controller as a guest or a new PSN user. What happened to the good old days of just connecting additional controllers and off you go.

Never played a two player game on the 360 then? This has been the norm for ages. :)

I was really looking forward to War Thunder but after playing it for awhile I'm not very impressed with the pay to win gameplay or the overwhelming confusion with the layout of menus and aircraft tier system.

I find War Thunder very fun. Agreed on the menus though, hella confusing!

It isn't really pay to win, more pay to get stuff quicker. Since you don't get put against all the really good planes if you have one the starter ones.

The menus are pretty confusing to start with.

On the 360, I would just hold the Xbox button on the second controller, and the green LED for the top right would flash. I liked it simple like that. I don't recall having to mess around with a different screen for additional users.

Chiina made ps4 here and working just fine, all i seem to play is resogun though. So bloody addictive, haven't even opened killzone yet!

I do feel like it screams for an arcade stick to really enjoy it proper retro style though :D

Had no issues with mine so far Made in China, had it on launch and put in a fair amount of play so far.
Played kill zone and assassins creed so far.

Only problems I seem to be having are all with BF4, Getting crashing in the campaign and sometimes online. AC and KillZone have been fine.

I seem to be enjoying Warframe a little too much.

Its all Ive played all weekend.

By the way, got Injustice and Lego Marvel at the weekend for £22.50 each from game when bought with something else.
I needed another pad (£5 more expensive from game) and charging dock (£5 more expensive) so ended up paying normal price for the peripherals and £27 each for the games.

Is how I justified it to the missus when I got back.

I tried Warframe, graphics were pretty good and I liked the feel of the weapons. Problem was I really wasn't sure what was going on.
There seemed to be 4 of us running after a red marker. When I got there nothing happened and then we had to run after another marker which took us back to where we started.

You got the PS4 version of Lego marvel for that price?

Yeah in store, you need to buy something else with it though, I was buying the extra controller and charging stand anyway, but the guy said it applied to blu rays other games etc.

Warframe takes a little time to get into, mainly because nothing is explained.

It boils down to follow the objective markers, shoot what ever is in the way in the face, collect bits and bobs, build other guns and suits.
I've been using the the space ninja thing to start off with, then paid £20 for some platinum and bought Trinity and a couple of guns.
I figured £20 for a solid weekend of entertainment was a fair price, I'll just grind now for everything else.
