*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Does the PS4 record the time you've spent playing a game like Steam does? I was just wondering how long i've been playing games as it is good to know how much value I've had out of a title.. Steam is quite handy for this..

Also, how do I hide trophy listings for PS3 games etc.. Got loads where I've fired up a PS+ game, not liked it so not played it anymore.. I look at the list of games, so many with 0%

I thought when ever you "capture" in-game it's supposed to record the last 30 minutes of game play, but I always end up getting random times like 12 minutes, 20 minutes, 6 minutes etc...

I think when you go back to the home screen it completes the recording and kicks off a new one - wasnt it 15mins max?

ps3ud0

Just completed killzone. Story not that great but my gosh some of the levels where really a challenge!!

Just finished it as well. Some of the early levels were quite pretty, other then that I found it all a bit soulless. Whilst fairly challenging later on the actual combat was all a bit dull IMHO.

By way of response to the lack of launch games argument...

I am currently finding that I have too much to play and can't seem to settle on one particular thing. I want to play more Battlefield but have found myself starting Assassin's Creed and FIFA. Also keep going back to Resogun and have been playing Flower too!

The only game I have managed to finish is the campaign in Killzone

I also have Need For Speed: Rivals and COD: Ghosts sitting on the shelf...

i've got more then I can play on my PS4, the launch titles are only the start IMO. BF4 and AC4 are keeping me well entertained, zen pinball as well, haven;t been able to play much Ps4 over the hols as been busy going out, even being single over the Christmas period i've been busy.

Intend to spend a few hours today playing PS4 games.. Poor old PC hasn't had much look in since getting a Ps4.

Coming from a person who only had tony Hawk for the ps3 at launch I would say we are spoil for choice.

I had to force myself yesterday to sit and finish kill zone as Battlefield has me hooked

I finished the killzone campaign yesterday loved it personally I no that's preference as not for everybody. The visuals were awesome mind, stood out more to me than most things on my gaming pc which surprised me. Got addicted to fifa 14 now aswell great game can anybody tell me is Lego marvel superheroes worth a punt at £30?

How are people finding remote play? be as in depth as you can if possible :p
its the -one- feature thats swinging me from the XBO, yet all the reviews are either overly positive, because "OMG I can play on the move!11!!oneone" and dont mention latency at all, or claim that the latency is simply too much to play most games (FPS, Sports) without severe annoyance.

Hence asking for some real user opinions.
for reference - it would be used to free up the tv to the other half, not to play on the train or something.

Also just finished the KZ campaign and really enjoyed it, am thinking the PS4 is probably the time to start getting into the online side of games, used to enjoy it on PC's, never really liked it on the PS3.

I currently use Sennheiser 170 wireless headphones for gaming when the other half wants some peace, but these obviously don't have a mic, if I grab a set of these Astro 50's, how good is the sound quality for things besides gaming like movies etc?

I find the sound quality to be really good and as good as the A40's despite being wireless. You can have them loud with no noticeable distortion, good seperation of sound and they usually last a good 6 hours before needing to be charged ;)

I watched End of Watch with them on the other day and it was excellent :)

It works well if you are on the same network. There is some delay more noticeable on games like Battlefield. Not having certain buttons and having to use the touch pad can be a pain if you need to do something quick.

It works better than expected but I do feel it's a bit of a gimmick which I used a fair bit at first but not so much now.

Have you tried using direct link remote play? bypassing your network completely? (It was announced as a feature? or am i dreaming?)

Not too bothered about the control mapping but the latency is really worrying me at the moment :( dammit, why did I have to get married, I want my TV back :( :p
