*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I reckon it will be an add-on to ps+ to be honest, We all need ps+ to play online and for the streaming service to be either a sub or pay as you go it would have to be something seperate.

I'm not sure how cheap it is going to be either as you are streaming all the time and bandwidth costs money. I'm hoping and extra 10-20 quid a year but can see it being a tenner a month.

On a side note I saw something about isp's maybe complaining and going back to capping users due to ps4 and xbone downloads, games being 50gb etc. This could affect PS Now if they do.

A comment in the IGN link made me smile

Playstation Now. Now spelled backwards is "Won". Clever Sony.

ISP's would never cap due to console downloads.

Not many people buy digital games as they are ridiculously expensive with no resale value.

Plus VM already have throttling in place for people who download a lot within a small time frame.

Also i'm sure Steam downloads would probably be a lot higher and ISP's have never complained about them before.

Ignore that, I just tried to find where I saw it and it was actually from last year.....no idea why it was on a site I glanced at yesterday

What did we get free with PS+ for January?

Ive not turned my PS4 on since before christmas :D

In the same boat. Finished Killzone a couple of weeks ago, sold that and not touched my PS4 since :(

It really does need some games. The launch titles are very poor. Its crying out for a fighting game like Fight Night. I spent weeks/months on that when I got it with my launch 360.

Don't Starve: http://www.dontstarvegame.com/

I've barely played Killzone. Played Assassins Creed Black Flag for about 20 hours, but have become bored of it now (it gets quite repetitive). Also spent a long time on Resogun and have completed Contrast.

I've recently gone back to my PS3 to play some more GTA 5 as I had a real hankering to just drive around blow stuff up - can't wait for that to finally make it to next gen/PC (if it ever does).

But yes, I agree, there need to be more games. I think the next major one will be Infamous Second Son (according to my pre-ordered Amazon PS4 games) around late Feb/early March time (can't remember the exact date), closely followed by Thief. Don't think there is an official date for Drive Club yet either.

Am I alone in double dipping on Tomb Raider in January then? :)

I have the game for pc, but performance nose dived soon as I turned the fancy tressfx hair on, but overall it was a fantastic game. wonder how well it stacks up against the pc , not too sure if I'll double dip, now if it was the last of us being released this month on ps4 no question I'd double dip for sure

Apparently it's getting a lot of work the PC version won't get (although not much in the way of game content). Yeah I suppose the price is a bit of an experiment but it's no worse than a directors cut of a film coming out a year later. If you love the game (which I do) it will be worth it.

its a fantastic game, and played it through three times on pc already. however not sure what the enhancements from pc to ps4 are, but I am slightly interested as the game is certainly a game I like to play , and I'd like to play the game with the fancy hair tech without it dipping into the low 20 s fps like it did on pc for me... hmmm

I got plenty to play on PS4, currently playing AC4 (only about 1.5-2hours in), playing COD, BF4 and NFS:R with friends, ontop of Resogun and I have already completed Contrast. Plus, Don't Starve comes out today, and I have already sunk many hours into that on the PC.

I want to try and get AC4 done before Thief comes out, 100% :P
