The Last of Us PS4 pretty much confirmed now:

Somebody made an oopsy!

Suppose I might as well give The Last of Us a rent then as I didn't bother on PS3. To be honest I think it looks really boring and repetative so doubt I'll like it but thought I'd see if it came out on PS4 and if so, give it a quick try.

Didn't bother renting Tomb Raider on PS4 as had played that already. It was OK but the praise it got was quite surprising as it was pretty un-inspired for the most part design wise. (as are most games now).

I think maybe my tastes are just either too weird or too picky as GTA5 looked like one of the worst games ever to me too and that also sold like crazy! lol

Do you even game, bro?

Nice that it actually does appear to be happening, although I personally won't be getting it as I'm already happy with the PS3 version :)

GTA 5 was brilliant (single player), the multiplayer was just a very very horrible experience, full of cheats and nothing to do really apart from repeating the same missions 1000 times over.

I bought a luxury apartment and apart from the garage it wasn't useful at all, the game just got everything wrong online wise.

Well OK so my tastes are a bit messed up.
When I talk to people or post it probably sounds like I like very little, but I do like a lot of games. I think the problem is I'm just overly critical these days.

GTA5 - well this just isn't my type of game so didn't expect to care about that one

Tomb Raider was good and I did enjoy it, I just didn't think it was brilliant and it felt more like a build up to a next gen Tomb Raider. The Tombs in the game were pointless but again, maybe a teaser for the next game. I liked the new direction though and just hope the next game is bigger, with more interesting environments to explore.
Still a good game though with good mechanics and gameplay. I liked the new Lara too. Leaving the island behind, it sets up the possibility for a truly epic sequel so I'd be very excited to hear about the next one

The Last of Us I was put off my watching some gameplay vids and it did look like the gameplay was very repetative and because I didn't play it I've already had the story spoiled which means the game had little appeal after that unfortunately.
By the time PS4 version hits, it'll have been a while and hopefully I can give it a go and enjoy it

But hey, there are loads of PS4 games coming out that I really like the look of so I'm not a lost cause just yet!!!!

Not sure what is up with my PS4 controller.

Got a PS4 last week, and in both FIFA 14 and BF4 (offline) everything is slightly delayed/lagged when I am using the controller. In FIFA 14 for example, I can't switch players quick enough to intercept etc because it is delayed, and in BF4 switching weapons and moving: crouching, going prone etc feels laggy.

I thought at first the problems were because the controller was not fully charged, so made sure it was. I also tried using the supplied USB cable and playing it hardwired to the console, and I even tried playing it on two different TVs in the house to see if it was input lag (one is a Panasonic Plasma GT30 and the other is a Samsung LED ES7000) with all lame picture enhancements junk off, but none of this made any difference.

Does this sound like a faulty controller? :(

faulty controller or huge amounts of interference on the same frequency

is there anything in between the line of sight of the controller and the console?

is there anything which spins rotationally in the same room? things like large very fast fans, hoovers, microwaves, etc can effect signals.

i would also buy a controller from argos, test it out and depending how honest you are return the faulty one or the same one within 7 days ;)

No hoovers, microwaves or fast fans, or anything between the line of sight of the controller and console.

I tried using it via the USB cable, so if there were any interference from anything then surely this would now be solved via the USB?

Do you not have a second pad Sonny?

I do yes, the person with the problem doesn't

I don't think the DS4 uses USB when it's connected to the PS4 by one, it still uses bluetooth.

Sounds like a faulty controller tbh, unless you have something else causing huge amounts of interference on the bluetooth frequencies.

The only way to test is to get another controller.
