*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I still do not understand why some say this... There are plenty of good games to play right now... and this month sees some great games coming out or just released.

watch dogs looks good, and wolfenstein was pretty epic.. Each to their own.

I think it's all a matter of opinion, and down to what types of games you like to play. Certainly it's not one of the stronger launches for a console in terms of quality AAA titles.

Either way, everyone has a right to an opinion, so saying "I can't understand why people say that" is a little unreasonable.

So my ps4 seems to be vibrating when installing a disc, much like this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB3KdICDMns&feature=youtu.be

Soon as it stops installing and the disc spins down it's gone. So really only seems to be there when the disc is at max speed.

For me, it 100% appears to how it's sitting, whether it's because of the shelf or because of only the three rubber feet, as if I push down on either the left front corner or left back corner (the side with no feet), it will instantly stop and be practically silent. It's not the hdd cover as I can push on the bottom half of the console and same instant stop effect. If I carefully lift the console off the surface, again, instance silence.

Moving it off the shelf, not really practical at the moment, no where else for it. So looking to dampen it/stop it, while leaving where it is.

I was thinking of just getting something like this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RUBBER-SH...77410?pt=UK_Flooring&var=&hash=item20db6b0502

Cutting small squares and shoving it under the corners that have no feet (would prefer not to stick to console).

Any one else had this issue and solved it? or is putting up with it or moving it, going to be the only solution.

Thanks.

Yes, I had the same issue although not as bad as the video you posted, it was still very noticable.

I placed four rubber feet underneath the console and havent heard it since.

there's at least 60 games out for the PS4

http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/ps4?sort=desc

to say all of them are crap you would have to be retarded, plenty of good games to choose from.

all the multi plats play better on the ps4, so i don't understand why someone would have no games to play on a ps4 even if they owned both consoles tbh.

It's because they still play a lot on their pc's. I thought the same and hadn't touched my PS4 for a few months then started getting games on it instead of the PC like Child of Light, Transistor, Watchdogs (soon to come) and getting UFC and few others. That along with an exclusive like MLB14 and i'm barely off it now.

I still get FPS games and MMO's and PC exclusives on the PC but now i get games i play on controllers and others that don't matter so much on the PS4.

Lol another copy/paste reply...you have that, how you share PSN games and buying Killzone for 85p on a notepad file? Just ready to be wheeled out when someone says something about the PS4? :p

I might have missed it, but no one said all games on the PS4 were crap.

Just completed Child of Light and got to admit it was well worth the £12. That along with Transistor are the best in terms of value this year for me personally.

Tempted to get Child of Light. It does look really good.

Was thinking of getting it on PC first but now leaning more towards PS4.

Think I'll get it today and along with Watch dogs/MLB should be a good mix for now.

I was the same with both Transistor and Child of Light and then i remember thinking this is why i don't touch my PS4 as i get everything for the PC. So i just got them both on the PS4 instead and both are really good games.

Sonny sure does get a lot of flack, but in a way he's right there are some quality games for ps4.

my comment is directed at those saying there are not real must have games, sure it's an opinion but some don't have this problem , I think some just love to moan or make comments etc , what does anyone expect, a catalog like the PS3 took PS3 years to mature and see some right killer games, just like any games console really.. but for now, ps4 does have some decent games, if not for everyone..

If you're complaining about the poor games line-up after having bought a PS4 (or Xbox One for that matter), it says more about your inability to make an informed purchase than anything else.

Both consoles have had a far stronger line-up of games than anything I've seen from previous console launches which tended to be a bit niche.

I dont disagree, I think people are looking at exclusives, as there are plenty of multi platform titles worth having. But if you have them on another format, there is no point getting them again.

I do think the Sony exclusives are lacking slightly, but again it is just my opinion. But no doubt they will pick up, after all the console has only been out 6 months.

Yeah I'd heard the same, shame.. still sure it'll be worth the wait. Anyhow loads more coming out so not end of the world..

Just completed wolfenstein, but mopping up unlocks and trophies etc... excellent game, worth anyone's £40 IMO. the whole game just got better and better the more you played through the story. really did hate the main villain, pure evil. hate, as in I did want to kill him, game succeeds at making you really want to hunt the SOB down.. : -)

You not understanding something is not a measure of its validity. It's perfectly possible for someone to not be inspired by the current range of games.

if I look at the Top 30 on that list there are maybe only a couple major titles that I know would interest me enough to pay for them. For many people, it seems it is somewhat lean pickings.

Might get Wolfenstein when price drops never really appealed but seems to get decent reviews. I'll have Watch Dogs in my grasp soon too.

Watch Dogs isn't getting rave reviews as you would expect from all the hype.

I think it's a wait and pick up for cheap game. Certainly not going to fork out £65 for it on PSN.

Some lucky people pre-ordered it for like £34, that was the right time to order it IMO and then when you play it and sell it on, you have paid about £5 to play it.

They aren't "rave" reviews, no, but they are very solid and consistant which is pretty good considering all the panic and negative hype thrown it's way in recent months.

82 on metacritic? Does not seem bad at all.

it was being touted as game of the year though.

it's a great game just not lived up to the hype. if i could get it now for £35 I would, but I'll wait til it's <£30 in the second hand market now.

looks fantastic at night when it's raining, incredible in fact. daytime and sunny it looks meh unless your near some water or nicely designed part of the map.

So in one post you smack people down for saying no good games on PS4, then when one comes along with a high metacritic (the list you used to tell others PS4 has good games) you dismiss it and say it's not worth picking up until cheap.
