Been deep in to Salt and Sanctuary between all the festive ********. Dare I say it, it's actually as good as Dark Souls.

Bought deus ex, titanfall 2 and until dawn in the sale. Anymore that I should be buying in the sale? Tempted by bloodborne. But the difficulty curve is putting me off a tad.

Only on the 2nd stage, its been excellent so far.

If multi player is half as good as the first game then this clearly has been a miss for stacks of folk.

Just seen that it is £90 on Amazon, not bad compared to a Scuff pad (looks a damn sight nicer as well).

I just got mine today. It's VERY NICE. If they did one for an XB1 I would buy it too. Makes me want to play with the PS4 again.

Bought dark souls 3 instead. Read a few articles saying it's better over all.

If I get on with it I'll pick bloodborne up. Not overly keen on bloodbornes art style though.. bit "dark"

Yep. Haven't delved into the multiplayer yet. But hammered the campaign. Enjoyed it very much !

I thought it was odd how there was very little build up to a big boss let alone it was like visioning a nightmare as the thing transformed. What the hell was it?

I dunno. I've literally just about survived walking past a shed load of undead and a half knackered fire breathing dragon. Then two knights slayed me in the courtyard. It's just too much.

That is me down to a tee. Even with all the hype on here and elsewhere, I've resisted buying it because it will give me a stroke, I'm sure.

It's difficult for sure. Not the most difficult in the Souls world by any stretch though.

Brutal learning curve, and remember you can get 'help' by summoning phantoms so try it. Most phantoms now will know the routes and secrets to help you get by and you'll pick up how they handle enemies as well.

Or, make yourself available for help where you have zero risk essentially...you don't lose anything for trying to help.

I'm a bit of a wimp so I take to 'helping' others to learn the map a little bit before progressing my save.

Thanks for the advice. But I don't think I'll be returning to this one. It's just too hard to enjoy.

Just wish there was a difficulty slider, cause I love the medieval setting. Just not the constant dying rubbish.
