It is good to see the $100m Microsoft spent on research for their new controller to be worth it for you guys

Well i loved the 360 controller, best i'd ever used but the Xbone i hate as it's a bit smaller. DS3 was ok but wasn't really that good, DS4 perfect bar the analogue sticks and now i haven't had a controller come close to this. So yeah thanks Microsoft!

I thought one of the reasons the ds3 felt so bad was that the sticks were quite high? Isn't the ds4 having them lower better? Tempted to mod but not sure if I'd like just yet.

Well maybe for some but the way the DS3 felt in the hand was so bad compared to the DS4. I personally didn't mind the sticks on the older controller, but the new one they suck but the rest of the controller is perfect.

I guess either try it out and switch back if you don't like or stick with what you have.

Someone is suing Sony for Killzone mp not being 1080p for the entire pipeline... $5million... yep.

I'll laugh if they win, especially as Microsoft will be next in line for putting 1080P on the back of practically every 360 game case.

I took some pics to show the difference they do sit slightly higher but are far nicer to use.

I don't like the xbox pad or sticks at all, the ps4 sticks sit just nicely for me, the ps4 pad has a really nice response when you get used to it.

I like Blacklight Retribution, not really into CoD style shooters but it is fast and fun!

Fair enough I find the sticks much nicer to use than the stock PS4 ones.

Each to their own really, some will prefer the standard ones and others will prefer the modded xbone sticks.

I am a Sony fan boy as well and loved the DS4 when it came out, just feel that these suit my taste better.

I don't think it needs a fresh UI just needs a few changes. I hope they finally allow custom themes. As said earlier though the store REALLY needs changing as it's horrible to navigate.

Yup that's what I'm now thinking. Those Orb grips are just too big IMO as they sit over the current ones.

Think I'll give the Xbox sticks a try instead. DS4 sticks peeling might as well try some different ones as I can't be bothered with trying to get the controller replaced

That's the issue I was having with the thumb covers I bought. It didn't feel very comfortable holding the pad but after swapping the sticks over for the xbone ones it's 100x better.

That's why i did to begin with, now i couldn't do without them.

I used the Orb grips and about 4-5 different other brands and none of them felt right. If my sticks hadn't worn away so badly and had stayed as bought i wouldn't have bothered. I would though now after trying both but yeah the quality of the sticks is appalling never have i seen an analogue stick fall apart so quickly.

I don't mind it at all. Only just coming from the PS3 which was soooo slow the PS4 UI and store seem dreamy to me!

I got some Orb grips on Sunday. I quite like them so far. I realise they are a bit higher but I am happy with that.

Where's the best place to purchase a PS4 from? I was contemplating purchasing Oculus Rift DK2, but decided otherwise, owing to the steep requirements.

Most places seem to be the same price. I went with the rain forest for £368 with The Last of Us.

Themes are all well and good but even on the PS3, I've always found myself eventually going back to the default one. If they decide to add it later then fine, but there's plenty of other things that can add or improve first. I guess it all hinges on whether they made enough money selling themes last time round to justify it.
