Personally i would rather have my order submitted and in a queue (akin to OCUK queue system) instead of keep refreshing and hoping it magically appears. I dont understand why most retailers block orders instead of stacking them up. The orders would eventually be fulfilled.

Also I hope game get struck off as a authorised retailer if they have been letting people click and collect multiple consoles.

They should all do same as QVC, QVC openly state that once you have a product in basket, its reserved for XX minutes.

All well and good for QVC but they don't get the ordering volumes.
What happens when 10,000+ people all add a product into their basket at the same time, when there are only 10 units for sale?
