It's a soft reboot with new characters and with only minor references to previous games. Is it worth playing even of you've never played any of the other Yakuza games?

I’ve never played any of the previous games. And still very much enjoyed it. There’s a few loose references to past characters. (One even appears in the game) But it’s not essential to play the previous games. Is it worth playing even of you've never played any of the other Yakuza games?
Sony have added 1440p support in the latest beta firmware, I'm sure that's of interest to a vocal minority.
I bet there's probably more people playing a ps5 on a 1080p telly than there are on ultrawideYou say loads but…
Of course it is. Why wouldbt it be? They even have their own hardware now. The Steamdeck.Lol is steam still about?

I haven't bought anything in years. Just play my old library of classics etc.Yhe store front was full of indie games that were very low quality. I stopped pc gaming in 2014 or 15.
Obviously not an exact science, but the steam hardware stats are a pretty good indicator.

My dell 24" wide screen monitors i used from about the year 2006 till around 2013 were 1920x1200 (Dell 2405fpw & U2410 monitors)Genuinely surprised that 1920x1200 is as low as it is, I know 1920x1080 became much more common and was cheaper but a lot of the better displays were 1920x1200 for a good while.

Probably Roblox etc.100% A lot of cheaper laptops like you see advertised on Currys adverts. Will be kids trying to play indie games and other stuff it can't handle.
