I wish people weren't actually going to bother with it myself.

A remake of a remaster after it's sequel has come and gone at full price is just laughable to me and I bloody love the game, ND could do no wrong in the past but they really are making a meal of everything these days I'm afraid.

People scoff at GTA 5 still going when it's in a PS state of play but give this a free pass? Don't get it.

It will be on PS+ soon enough, not like someone is going to spoil the story for you...

There are loads but the part that always stood out for me is the change of pace with the deer hunt then the whole David arc. Cool boss fight as well. I love the confusion then ultimate devastation of the whole opening sequence from start to finish. Just brilliant and something I’ll never forget. The University. The giraffes. Losing Tess. To name just a few :)

The deer bit felt like padding to me. I dont know why she had such distrust of david. Joel would have just gone back with him and got shot.

Is there a large game studio that does still have a lot of good will directed towards it. This is just how it goes. Once almost any company reaches a certain size they end up being slowly infiltrated by more and more traditional business types and the culture slowly changes from customer focussed to shareholder and valuation focussed and the only way to deliver maximum value to the latter is to remove it from the former.

Even the darlings of the game industry like Naughty Dog and CD Projekt Red finally made the transition.

When you look back to Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 while they were still awesome games for AAA titles, when you compare the jump from those to 4 and The Last of Us 2 it feels like a big money jump. As if they went into the major leagues compared to their previous games.
 
Noticed quite a bit of dust the other day on the inlet vents on my PS5 so took the sides and the fan out and gave it all a good clean. Just shy of two years I suppose and I’ve used it every day. All cleaned up now.

Yeh mine is looking pritty grotty in the vents, been thinking if doing the same this last week since I noticed.
I'm fine with only having to do it every 2 years.

There was quite a bit of crap in there so thinking I might turn that into an annual clean rather than the two. Never taken the covers off before so it was a good experience!

It must have a good bit of headroom in the airflow as mine really doesn't look good but the fan hasn't ramped up at all.
Saying that maybe the temps have but the fan doesn't speed up.

There never has been "a PS5 rest mode issue"
Some people have experienced an issue that looks like it maybe related to rest mode - but the actual number seems incredibly small when there are over 20m units out there.
Nobody has managed to find any meaningful connection between those people who reported it and if it were an issue in general, we'd all be seeing it.

The one related to attached external storage? It was fixed ages ago. I've not had any issues with resuming from rest mode since then.

I have no idea what issue you're talking about

But one issue i get with my PS5 is that when i turn it on sometimes it says it was not shut down or turned off properly :confused:
But i can't remember if that is after i put it in rest mode or after i shut it down from the menu
