Can’t really have part 1 at 60fps and then part 2 at 30.. that would be a bit jarring, no?
Pretty sure it’ll have graphic options like everything else. I can’t see them dropping 60 and of course the game will be more ambitious if it’s PS5 only. Just sounds like internet assumptions to me.

Edit - unless the devs have actually said this will only run at 30 on the PS5? I’ve not seen that comment nor looked it up.

I think the OP is getting a bit confused with the fact that when the first game was released it was made for PS4 with lower resolution/frame rate. Of course, a PS5 version was released later with 4K textures and 60 fps. There's no way Part 2 is not going to offer these features. And no, a PS5 Pro in the near future is a pipe dream.

I couldn’t find Persona 5 on the store via phone only Royal was there to purchase. Went via the PS5 and the one I grabbed when it was part of the collection was there - PS4 non-Royal edition. Did a bit of research and it was taken off of the collection last May. But if you got it before that it’s still yours.

@McBain
Can’t speak for RE7 because I already owned it but you could try searching on the console itself to see if it’s there.
have you played it ? If not..go straight for royal. It adds new characters and a whole new semester.

I don’t have royal but I gave P5 an hour or so this morning. Loving it so far! Royal is on sale but £36 is a bit much!
I got half way through vanilla before deciding to scrap it and get royal. Nothing wrong with vanilla P5, it’s just missing some characters and an extra semester / dungeon. It’s quite a long game though so you may get sick of it before the end :p wow, £36 is steep though. I agree :(

Maybe see if you can score a disc version 2nd hand. It was personally worth it for me for the extra content. Long game though, clocked over 100hrs!

Edit. One here for £12

Edit. N/m. Saw it was in Canada

Cheers I’ll see how I get on with P5 and if I am into it enough I might look into upgrading it.

Strange. Hard to tell on mine as I bought it on release.

So I went on the ps store website and logged out. It’s showing as £6.39 buy then underneath a message that says:

“Included in The PlayStation Plus Collection (for PS Plus subscribers with a PS5™)”

In the store there is a ps5 upgrade for free. It may be that if you download that you will get the full game?

I’ll give it a go on the PS5 itself as I’m trying via the PS app.

So I just ordered a PS5, I wasn't going to bother but upgraded my phone recently and sold my 12 pro for pretty much the same price as a new PS5. Fair swap :D
I've been an xbox gamer for 99% of the last 20 years. I have a PS4 I only really used during lockdown to play GTA with a mate however due to nothing much appealing being released of late (in my opinion) I cancelled Live, Gamepass and my PSN subs and bought some older classics for the PS4 cheap off ebay to play through. GOW, GOT, an Last of Us 1. Currently half way through Days Gone and enjoying it but really looking forward to starting Last of Us next as I am also dying to start the TV show.

Question - I bought the standard PS4 version of LOU off ebay and it was only $10 however I see there is a remaster available. There is also a PS5 version. Remaster is cheap enough however the PS5 version is still full price everywhere. Is it worth shelling out for it? Bearing in mind I have never played it. Will be in my second living room with a 65" LG OLED C1. Same question regarding Ghost of Tsushima directors cut which seems equally expensive.

Thanks :)

They are both the best way to play the games whether they’re worth it to you that’s for you to decide. For me absolutely that’s the best way to play them and worth every penny.

If you can afford it definitely go with the latest PS5 remaster of the TLOU part 1. That said, the previous PS4 remaster is great too, and is the version I played a few years back. I haven't bought the PS5 edition - yet, simply because I've played the game to death already. At some point when the price drops I will pick it up ( aand it will drop within the next year or so ).

The beta firmware invites can now be shared with friends, up to 5 people can use one code now.

Added VRR support for 1440p
Disc and digital game install's can now be used with opposite type of purchase.
Cross platform installs will now prompt to download saves from coud on installation.

Those are the bits I remember from the email.

I haven't had a Playstation since the PS2 and since then, I've been playing anything I wanted on an Xbox. I had the chance to pick up a PS5 this week and it's due for delivery later today. I haven't been this excited for a games console for years!
