I've been following some stuff about it but not much - but it does look good. I don't think there are any reviews yet :(

Id like to gather some opinions of it before I buy. Will you be purchasing m8?
 
Before you buy this game make sure you all read the reviews etc.

We all know it looks good but it could end up being rubbish!

wait for the reviews and see what they say.
 
Only once I have finished Infamous will I buy this game.

Been playing too many games at the moment :p
 
Been playing the promo copy of this. My mate works for Chips and has let me borrow it as he has a ps3.

Its cool, its like Spiderman on Crack.

Only Played for about 40 minutes. But you can just free roam or do the missions. I can see it getting repetitive but ive only done 3 missions.

looks awesome, and as i've only got 360 so can't play infamous i've got it on pre order, should keep me going till fight night 4 a few weeks later.

yeah i knew it would get repetitive...

you have only done 3 missions and you can already tell its going to be repetitive...

I Suggest... RENTING IT... simple as.
 
It's not *THAT* repetative, im about 60% through and the more you play the more upgrades available and what not which makes it more interesting, and developing your best weapon strategies against enemy types helps as well - i've worked out my strategy for Hunters and Super Soldiers now! :)

Like all these open world games they do have their limits, but it never gets old consuming bodies and killing countless people! The story is pretty cool to boot too, and unlocking other parts of the story by consuming key targets and getting little "glimpses" of their knowledge is pretty sweet.

Apparently the gold and platinum score achievements are tough - can you confirm this m8?

Also Wyrdo why did you delete me from your friends list? :p

Some of the gold have been pretty easy to be honest, but i leave them till last, done 8 events 7 of them gold first try - i dont think you get platinum till you got gold on all the rest.

I found sometimes you are too fast for the running ones which unlock early, i have max speed and jump now and keep missing markers for being to quick!

Haha Ok. Id like to know how you get on because I am tempted by this game but I'm also a completionist :p
 
Decided to pop into town and get this on release, got some games that need trading in so will be a good opportunity to do it

Because my list was getting full and I've never, ever played a game with you - I had a big clear out on my list.

Can't people just follow the rules and wait till the game is out before talking about playing it? /looks at McDaniel.
