Just played Full auto and I have to say I'm not impressed. Looking forward to playing DD on the PSP though :)

Hi,

How does this update thing work? On my PSP each firmware update added some functionality to the unit. This update you describe seems to be content on the Playstation store. I was under the impression this was just like a PS3 formatted website. Why do they do firmware updates when there is new content available or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

There asn't a firmwae update released. People heard about an update coming, but it was just content to the store, which is, as you say, just a web site. no update was needed for the content.
But people hear PS3 update and assume its a firmware.

Does that make sense? its kinda late lol

next BIG firmware update is March and I must say it's the one I'm looking forward to as it will fix a lot of issues.

Any one else looking forward to flOw? I can't wait for this game, as I usually only get on my consoles at night and then if I have had a stressfull day I usually feel a bit tired and need to relax, which makes any games which take some concentration and effort a bit of a chore. This looks like it's something good to play and **** out to :)

I read (with instruction too) that the ps3 firmware check have been bypased....anyone tried this? Please dont ask me for links or post one...You know the rules.

I dont think it's that kind of game!

i think it's a structure game, you build your bodies structure depending on the what you "flow" through, and i'm guessing you lose structure if you hit something you shouldnt. but I don't think there's any death or finality.

SCEE has announced that all their first-party games will be priced at £40 RRP. So much for PS3 games being more expensive...

Even though this is just a guess - I wonder if this means that all premium releases will be a max of £40 , its not much considering the blow of backwards compatability but at least its something.

Also d/l's look as though they are going to be pretty cheap (£6 for a full game like Tekken 5, and pence for add on packs)
