Bad mistake that as the ps3 is about to explode. Buy planet earth bluray and you would change your mind.

I suggest a visit over to AVForums.. they have a list of the best looking BluRay movies.

All of mine are within the top two tiers, so I'm pretty glad. However, I suspect a lot of people may have bought a film because of the HD tag and not thought much of it picture-wise, when in fact it was a badly encoded movie from the off.

For some strange reason playing PS2 Final Fantasy XII makes my PS3 really hot, the fan(s) start spinning very noticably, I haven't experienced the same increase in fan speed playing Motorstorm.

Playing a BR movie and it stays very quiet.

I'll have to listen out for some changes then, I think it's fine tbh.

It's probably fine, F@H will generate a lot of heat and 5 mins isn't a long time. My problem was that it hit fan level 3 when it was just playing a dvd and stayed there for hours after going back to the xmb.

Oh I'll have to give that a shot later.
