OK this is where I'm at now:

I think I'm pretty much at the limit of what it can do. Can get a higher clock but Prime fails. I'm wanting to get the air out of my water loop as that should help matters but I'm struggling.

Any comments welcome.

Those temps do seem high for water.

Did you bleed the system properly?

Got mine last week, getting 3.55Ghz 8 hours prime stable but it seriously needs lapping.

What are your temps now?

Well when I logged on this morning after about 10 hours of Prime they were 67-70 ish. They rose to that after about 30 mins earlier. Once I lap the CPU (and my Fusion, small scratches on it so I want to get it super smooth) I'll do the same with current settings to see what I get.

what vcore is that?

Below 75c, tho they can take more.

I wouldn't run a a Q6600 that hot for 24/7 use.

You'll limit the clock with the artic freezer, as 63 c for 3ghz is quite high on stock vcore.

Finally found a spare few hours to play around with my chip
3.150ghz on stock 1.23V so far

Nice now push that puppy further

Mines also a lousy clocker which i bought back in January L 802A680 OEM i managed 3.4ghz stable @ 1.45 in Bios I have not seen many **0 chips about,Luck of the draw i guess I wish i had gone for a retail chip not because they clock better .. but due to curcumstances which i have already mentioned I wont be buying OEM again

I wouldn't let OEM put you off.

The 650i chipset are crap for clocking quads.

Your best bet is to get a cheap SH p45 or p35 mobo
