Grade E for Hiku? Do me a favour! He was clearly checking on Nsemba. The Match Review Panel just isn't fit for purpose atm.

And a ban for Thompson, the best English prop, just before a Test series? Seriously?

Hiku has his case dismissed, and rightly so. Thompson still suspended, which is cobblers.

Wardle injured for the Test series. Was looking forward to him and Farnworth as a centre pairing. Surprised that Mulhern missed out and that Hill didn't, but Wane tends to stick with those who have served him well in the past. Thought Minchella was a bit unfortunate, but he has Radley and Smithies in front of him. I'd put him ahead of Smithies, but Smithies is a real Wane-type player.

Trinity heading back up to SL. Too good for Toulouse tonight, which has made the referee ignoring them passing so far forward that it's in a different time zone all the more irritating :rolleyes: They clearly didn't need the leg up from officialdom at all.

Tell you what though, McGillvary has just scored a try as I'm typing this, and then kicked the conversion himself and made it. That was fun :)
 
Looks like we are getting a 3 match Test series against Australia next season. Brilliant!

I thought England looked pretty good on Sunday. We know how Samoa can turn it round after their first match against us (I'm still having flashbacks of the drop goal!), so should be a cracking game at the weekend. Difficult to drop anybody on their form, but I suspect that somebody will have to make way for Thompson.

Yeah its not the way to grow the league.

I dont think them taking an advance is the right answer either. Short term fix.
