****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

I've somehow managed to break a small corner off my official mesh case so now need a new one. Can anyone recommend me somethnig which could be better than the mesh case and provide a link please?

Much appreciated.

My mesh case is falling apart! A small piece of it fell off a couple of weeks ago. Today I noticed the hollow area near the power button is cracked and the matching hole where the volume is, the thin part just fell off!!

I have dropped the phone once or twice, but not very hard and it was about a month ago! I take the case off every few days to wipe the back (it picks up loads of circlar dust spots where the mesh is) so I think that has weakened the thin edges near the button holes.

Gutted :(

Same thing has happened to my mesh case, my first one cracked after a drop and my current one has started to fall apart exactly like yours did. Going back to the nasty TPU case (ugly dustmagnet that it is) for now, though I would ideally like to find a similar but more sturdy alternative to the official mesh case.

Quick update on the spare battery (Anker 1900mAh Li-ion Battery) I purchased for £8.99. So far so good, on the first full charge it lasted pretty much the same as the stock samsung battery.

I've order the Case-Mate Barely There after the corner of my mesh case fell off yesterday. Seemed like a good choice.

Can anyone suggest a "call centre" type headset for the S2?

Basically a monoaural 'over the head' headset with a boom mic that stick out for you to speak into, bit like a call centre operator?

So far, definitely. Have you seen the reviews of the 2000mah Andida battery on mobilefun which costs £4 more? By your logic, that should last even longer. - LOLtim indeed.

I don't get it. You should have just bought another 1650mah samsung battery if you wanted similar performance, or even better, the 2000mah samsung battery.

If the anker battery holds its charge as well as a genuine samsung battery does after 6 months, i'll eat my hat.

The samsung battery is £20, this was £9 so less then 50% the price, so they are not really comparable in that respect.

Keep that hat handy though, type 'anker 1900mah samsung galaxy s2' in google and read the tons of customer reviews (rainforest website). That was why I decided to test it plus my mate has been using it for a few week snow and he swears by it too. Seems like the ideal spare battery atm but time will tell.

I still recommend and want the official samsung extended battery but its not available for the white S2 yet.
