Very tempted to order the blue from Carphone Warehouse in the hope they have one in stock next week.

I would prefer to order from Play for the 4% cashback and credit card points ( have a play credit card) but i just don't think play are very on the ball with this.... Carphone Warehouse are probably a good bet for the most allocated stock.

TW plays the trick of not have a moving/scrolling wallpaper too. Animation give the illusion of smoothness too.

You can stop the wallpaper from moving/scrolling in apex ;)

Also have a play with the animations, I don't see no stutter while using the tablet animation.

Depends. You'd probably get a better deal online, but then you don't have a bricks and mortar store to complain to if something goes wrong (if that's important to you).

Regarding the white SGSIII, recession white looks girly imo and I'd certainly hold out for the blue one unless you're planning to butcher it anyway.

After the ICS update and my decision to take off the screen protector, the Note feels like a new ultra fast phone, I reckon I can now easily hold out for black :cool:
 
Mattey - stopping the wallpaper scrolling in Apex makes it really smooth on my S2 - YAY.

It was already smooth on the S3 - just makes it even more smoother I think. cheers.
 
Called t-mob got my pac, the guy asked why i was thinking of leaving 'how about the fact ur upgrade options after 2 years are no diff to the new contract options u ass'.

He then went on to talk about how 3s data network is not very good and that they dont own it, That t=mobile have the best data network and can give me the full monty for 36 a month that has no FUP...also talked about fact tmob trialling 4g and would be first to have it in the uk.

46 a month tho? Apparently can get the one plan for 31 a month in store so seems to be a clear winner to me unless three is really that bad. Friend just picked up his new one x today and i asked him to run a speedtest and he only got 600k down which is shocking as i get 3500 odd on tmob?
 
If you want to do a speed test, you have to do it in the same location to be fair. Preferably where you use your mobile data the most.
 
I keep hogging my wifes S3, it is such an amazing phone imo. The battery just seems to go on forever, I've not charged this since yesterday and it still has 10% left on it. It's showing at 1 day 5 hrs 35 mins with screen time of 3 hrs 15 mins. I have screen brightness just over half, and wifi, mobile data always on. I am gonna wait until I see the blue, if I like it more then the white I might actually sell my Note :eek:
 
The cpw blue stock must be online orders only as i phoned hedge end who did a store search and said no blue ones were showing as in stock.
 
Just about to but got a message from my cousin who pre ordered through cpw and he has a tracking number for his blue one now and will get it soon. He said cpw told him that because they have limited stock that they are only dispatching to pre orders than putting it on the system via the stores.

For those who ordered from mobiles.co.uk, don't forget to cancel your free insurance and gadget helpline if you don't want it otherwise you will get stung in a months time because the gadget helpline take 6 months payment at a time. I've just cancelled the gadget helpline over the phone now, took under 2 minutes hassle free.

Stuff Play. i think i might just put an order in at CPW and hope they have some stock left after pre-order allocation. ( hopefully enough chumps have swapped for white :D)
 
Just got mine and thoroughly impressed coming from an iphone 4. One query though, web browsing seems awfully dark, is there a way to adjust this so it's brighter?

press menu in the browser - should be a brightness option there - it's set to auto by default.
 
After seeing both colours in the flesh I think if I were to get one I'd get the white as the blue looked kinda violet in the shop which did'nt do it for me. The phone itself does look a lot better in the flesh then it does in the photos. And what can I say about the screen appart it looks absolutely gorgeous.
