I'm glad how dark the blue is on the front:

Galaxy S III vs One X from GSMArena: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_iii_vs_htc_one_x-review-759.php
They couldn't pick a clear winner but as expected the S3 seems to be better if you compare all of the features side by side.
The camera also looks better however the conditions seem to be different (and they said as much) so it's not entirely reliable and zoomed out there's probably little to no difference.
It keeps in line with the Galaxy S II (though it's not entirely reliable as it factors in things you may never do).
They aren't impressed with the design and feel though (and they actually have one, so no guessing).
I'm not making any final decisions yet but I can't see a compelling reason to swap the X. I would if I needed the storage and liked it when I use it... but I don't need more storage, and I still don't like the design all that much.
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but i really struggle to see why people are outraged by the design

Its a weird review - basically they say its a tie because the Galaxy S3, despite being better than the HOX in every single department, isnt as good looking as the HOX![]()
If the corners weren't so curved, it would look fine for most people here.
Is there anyone on here that is familiar with flashing ROMs/Kernels onto a phone? I'm trying to do this for my LG Ally (I know this isn't the right thread, I just figure this is a more active thread than an LG Ally thread).
If anyone can provide me detailed instructions (as this would be my first attempt) it would be amazing! If not, that's cool too...
I mainly want to overclock the CPU a bit, any other extras would be icing on the top.
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but i really struggle to see why people are outraged by the design (unless its just one of those good old internet opinion snowballs).
Looks very similar to the nexus, and infinitely better than the horrendous brick like design of the GS2.
Aside from the marble finish effect (which is not even visible half the time it seems) its a solid looking phone.
*edit* though admittedly its not as good looking as the One X![]()
Was chatting to a chica yesterday and she was asking about which phone to get as an upgrade. Since she has a HTC already I suggested she gets the HOX. She asked me why I said that when I'll be getting the SGS III so I told her she'll probably like the looks of the HOX better and since he's used to the SENSE UI she'll probably not like the TW UX. She then googled images of the SGS III when I went to the gents and started to talk about how lovely the white SGS III looked and that's the one she'll be getting.![]()
I think this chica might be related to Rimsy
