Been over a week since I've been using the phone and I'm loving it !! So much can be done on it, its unbelievable. Don't even use my playbook anymore :p

Thought I would miss my blackberry 9900 but I haven't. I'm glad I switched !

All my next phones will be android based now !

Amazon say they should have stock on the 16th, I'm thinking of changing to them, I would be right at the back of the pre-order queue though.

According to XDA Play are getting 10-20 in at a time but also according to XDA, nobody some folks have heard of have gotten theirs yet!
 
If the sun is behind you but in normal conditions it is fine at 100%.

Siyah kernel is now out for the S3, brings many new things including NTFS automounting and screen inversion when you press home button 4 times.

Still no word from mobilephonesdirect. Tempted to cancel my order and get it from somewhere else, but I'm worried I won't find the same deal again. Got it for £26p/m, they've since put the price up to £31.
 
I really like this phone. But I am having issues with connecting it to the wifi both at home and at work, it appears to be very flaky.

Anybody else having issues with wifi?

Hi,

Can you explain what the H and H+ icons mean? I have come from an ip4 and so am used to seeing 3G when I get good signal.

EDIT: Also while I am asking a question. How do you multi task on the S3 (coming from an ip4 I double press the home button etc)?

There will be some performance and usability enhancements or tweaks. As to whether they all bring any benefit is debatable as the majority are not easily measurable but that is the nature of the custom rom arena and another debate.

It will also give you something to do and then talk about with fellow geeks. :D
