*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

What cases are people using? I want something clear, understated and extremely slim which leads me to believe I have few options.

I've got the Spigen Ultra-thin as well, nice dimpled effect on the back, and soft material so it'll protect the aluminium and glass from impacts. Getting a screen protector tomorrow as well.
I did look at the Ringke, but I didn't like the port covers, thought they made it seem cheap :(

@Sweey, I looked at Amazon reviews but they typically mixed various models of cover reviews together. Most people I saw who reviewed THIS one were happy.

Was reading the reviews on the Spigen Ultrathin for the EDGE and some people were saying there is 1mm of play in the case which causes a rattle?

Does it improve the usability / grip of the phone? Does it destroy that distinctive edge look?

What do I need to flash my S6 Edge with to get rid of all the O2 crap?
I read it some pages back but cant find it now.

Also, will this reset my phone to stock?
I dont want to have to set everything up again.

O2 have made it so you can not forget "O2 wifi"
I have 4G all around work but as soon as I walk into an O2 wifi area it swaps over to it and I cant remove it, all I can do is switch off wifi till I get home.

Here you go, instructions are also on that page

It will maintain all you data and settings. I also have an O2 Edge and it restored everything to stock apart from the default bookmark on the browser which seems to be stuck on O2.

I have this case on mine and it does have slight movement but doesn't worry me. Doesn't ruin the edge side either few pics below.

Picked up the Galaxy S6 64GB today, lovely build quality and performance so far.

One thing sticks out, when you gentally shake the device I hear something loose inside, a user from another forum suggested it's the the image stabilizer.

Is this normal? when I enable the camera the sound goes which means when it's not active it's just moving around.

Does anybody know of any deals better than the £33 EE one on mobiles.co.uk?

All I need is a minimum of 2GB data

This is something that has always baffled me - why was everyone so desperate to see the phone made out of 'premium materials' like metal and glass when most people then go and put it in a plastic case that covers every touchable surface except the screen anyway, where it stays until they eventually sell it?

Personally, given these things live in plastic cases most of the time anyway, i'd much rather just have a cheaper plastic phone. It also means you can avoid having to forgo features like removable batteries just to accommodate the premium materials.

I'm not really that fussed about "premium materials" really - the plastic of previous generations was fine. I just want it to be really well built while hopefully looking decent and this is just that. There's no way I'm carrying a big, slippery all glass phone around without some form of protection! I went with a decent quality see-through case so you can still see the main form of the phone anyway. A removable battery is not needed these days imo. Wish it had an SD slot though, not really even for the storage space, it just makes managing stuff much easier.

Was in the EE store today and have to say the gold edge looks so much nicer than the white version!

That will do the job nicely. Lets see the back? :D
I'll take more pics after work today.

Just had a text and am expecting a delivery at home between 11:01 and 12:01 which must be my S6 Edge as I haven't got anything else ordered. This is direct from Samsung so others ordering via them should be in a similar boat if they pre-ordered early on.

Not all of us shove a case on our phone. I've always used a pouch and prefer the phone naked.

Of course I'm uber careful when I handle the phone. Some protection is always a good though if you want to be a little brash with the phone :)

Beauty of Android is that you can just use an OTG cable if you want to do some management. Great for when you're on holiday and want to copy data.

OK not ideal, but it's not the end of the world either.
