*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Does anyone know how to block callers who's number begins with 0843...... On the S4 you could select this option but it appears to be missing on the S6? I've tried 0843* but it didn't work.

So after getting my S6 a week or 2 ago I rooted it and put some custom recovery on it so I can install all my apps. This week I've noticed that the battery results I was getting was poor... like really poor 9 hours and 1 hour screen on and it was dead (compared to all your 15 hours and 5 hour screen on). Been bugging me all week, ive tried battery training (draining to 0% and charging fully) which helped a bit but still i was draining 10% in 30 minutes and thats with it sitting on the side while I get ready for work!

Today I happened to come across an xda thread about battery drain on the s6 after you have flashed a custom recovery, turns out the phone wont go into deep sleep at all (this was confirmed by using CPU spy). Flashed a deep sleep fix via custom recovery and now the phones deep sleeping!!

Now need to see how long it will last without the stupid bug :)

If anyones having an issue with battery download CPU spy and see if your phone is deep sleeping, then if its not check this link

I cut an ear cleaning bud stick at an angle and used the resulting plastic spike to get the camera and flash protective plastics off, thought I would mention it in case anyone else who bites their nails might need help:o

you can leave the camera one on mate, as it doesnt get in the way and plus saves teh camera lens from getting scratched

the flash one can come off but mine staying on :D

I rang the gimps at 3 to request a nano sim which they said will take 4/5 working days and tonight after their help line closed they've de registered my existing sim, ******* I'd happily punch the one who did it:mad::mad::mad::eek:

Useful! You maybe have a reason not to be able to go to one of their shops but you could swap it there same day. Takes maybe an hour to register on network.
