Has anyone had satnav issues with their s6? Wondering whether it's a GPS signal or copilot issue (not picking up gps very well) as Google navigation seems a little better but still not great at tracking position.

No problems... Used it as sat Nov loads. Google or sygic.

Finally got the 5.1.1 update on my EE S6. Hope this improves the battery life significantly!

I'm quite liking the Blue Mail app at the moment, does a good job with exchange, gmail and outlook.com boxes.

Hi guys.

Im getting my new S6 today and im quite excited. Is there anything anyone recommends doing ? I know there is that "Package Disabler" app which appears to increase battery life by a bit so i will do that for sure.

Also im coming from an HTC One, is there any software that makes the Samsung menus etc look like the HTC ones ?

So I got fed up of trying to get the notification bar down and accidently minimising the app window instead and did some digging. I have no idea why Samsung didn't give the ability to turn it off but anyway this works wonders.

Noted, right after I got the 5.1.1 ota, I wish phone makers and OS tinkerers, Google, would forget the clock like yearly iterations and just release stuff when their product is right!!

No problem with the screen not turning on but my S view case stopped working yesterday.

Whats the average screen on time people are getting from their s6? I've had mine for 3 weeks now and struggling to get anything beyond 3 hours, did a factory reset at the weekend and still only getting on average 2 and a half hours

Looks like you barely used it for anything, there are no apps other than Chrome listed and that's only on 3%

What were you doing? did you just leave the screen on stop the phone sleeping? for 5 hours? lol

Lol, no, below that I had some games on 3%, I was also constantly playing with it, downloading apps, installing them, setting up Nova launcher, emails on push, taking pics and lots of whatsapp, & of course surfing the forums so not just sitting there
