*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

im getting similar results with my battery. its nowhere near z3c endurance. but its good enough to get me through the day with roughly 4 hours or so screen on time.

@Space Monkey Nice! What voodoo trickery are you using to get those stats? Are you getting used to the smaller screen?

Sssshhhh, its a secret :p

Its going back tomorrow as I need a bigger handset, I should have listened to you, gutting really as its a fantastic phone and had no nibbles in the MM?

Haha a magician never tells eh? Haha ;)

At least you gave it a shot Mate otherwise you would've been wondering what the S6 was like. I can't believe it's not getting any interest in MM...

What magic? the phone can do 12 hours of video playback and 10 hours of web browsing, very easy to fake good battery life, especially with OLED displays.

Having the display on and the phone barely used for 6 hours while you install and very quickly try some apps is going to result in what looks like great battery life.

He clearly did not try any apps for any length of time as Chrome was only on 3% and that was the only app listed in his screenshot.

Use come common sense people, the information is right there.

Below that was at least 3 other apps at 3%, I had screen brightness on full most of the time as well ;)

Well im 90% sure my phone has been blocked. Fumin isnt the word bought 3 weeks ago on Ebay, Emergency calls only, with a few sims but strangely enough on my dads EE sim (mines Three) it says EE and h+ which i didnt think it would? Also the mobile data works but not the phone/texting which is bizarre. However my sim wont work at all and dont have another phone to test with along with my sisters which pops up saying o2-uk then flashes to emergency calls only.

You obviously don't have a sense of humour...you missed the point of Monkey and I having a joke...thanks for your input though...most helpful :p

Flashed stock through odin still same emergency calls only, confused though as i tried a Vodaphone sim and it found it sent a text but wouldnt make a call then went to emergency calls only.. blocked or faulty phone?

I've seen so many users posting battery usage and claiming to have amazing battery life, it's not funny any more.

It's just trolling.

You have limited time if it's been done as an insurance scam - consider doing a block check using CheckMend as if it's blocked you need to raise an immediate dispute on paypal.

Ebayer said they havent blocked it, and wouldnt because it would come back on Paypal. Im not sure whether its faulty or blocked and what rights i have, either way ive opened a paypal dispute.

Boom, attach the report to your dispute and you'll be OK. It's going to be a couple of days worry but you have evidence on your side. This is unfortunately, why ebay is a complete wasteland for handsets now :(

I wouldn't inform the seller but it's your choice. If you let them know you know the official block reason then they can go to paypal and say "the buyer said he would fake a report if i didn't refund him" or something equally stupid. Not informing them stands a chance of being cleaner.

How much feedback did the seller have? Was the phone boxed?
