Just tried it and seems to work ok from my official Samsung Wireless charger from the USB 3 port on my desktop. Time to charge doesn't appear to be much different either.

When I tried it when a none official one it wouldn't fast charge.
My charging seems to be rubbish. . Won't connect at times etc where's the best place to send my phone?.. came from carphone warehouse and is on Vodafone network.. various other problems too.. camera won't focus most of the time etc.. had it since launch day

I thought you solved your battery drain with the google play services update
Initially, it's back though. It's better but I'm lucky to get 3 hours sot through a day.
When I initially replaced the play services with the one you suggested and then did a cache wipe, my battery life seemed immediately better. This however, only lasted a few days. Battery life is now back to it's mediocre state.
I might try a cache wipe again to see if that helps.
It's spectacularly bad today, 30 mins sot and it's at 53% currently.
I don't think I've ever disliked a phone as much and I've had some stinkers.
I've given up trying to make it not suck itself dry and pre ordered a Z5c

How long has the phone been on for?
I've got 30 mins SoT and phone been on 3.5 hours, and I'm sitting at 87%.
Man, that's a real pity. I understand your pain though. It's such a good phone, inexplicably let down by terrible battery life. The main thing that keeps me with it is that the camera is probably the best there is on Android.
Similar to mine, fully charged around 11pm yesterday and SoT is at 43 minutes so far today and it's on 84%
Listened to the radio for around 25 minutes this morning and some Twitter usage.
Even playing multiple sessions of Vainglory I still manage over 3 hours SoT.
It was taken off charge at around 9am, I can't fathom whats going off, I was at 87% by 10.30am this morning with 20 minutes SOT.
Bleeding thing is schizophrenic to say the least. Some days it manages 4 hours SOT, some days it barely breaks 2, I almost always have to put it on charge by 6pm.
The camera is good, I'll give it that.
That sounds very annoying.
Now sitting at 58% with 2 hours of SoT and on battery for 7 hours.
