As for screen protectors - none of the glass ones "fit" properly due to the curved edge of the screen (even the standard S6 is slightly curved) which is annoying, but I use this and it's decent quality and has not scratched at all. Not used a plastic protector.

Can someone recommend a case and screen protector for the edge plus...sorry if this has been asked 2 dozen times.

Was trying to hold out on z5 but caved and reverted back Samsung. Liking the s6 edge plus so far.
 
I had a tempered glass cover for my z2 which saved my butt a few times .Can see a few for the edge plus but don't really have great reviews.
 
Wow, what a screen this is on the phone! Really liking it so far, seems so nice & fast & smooth, can't believe the difference when held next to the S4 which looked brilliant until an hour or 2 ago!

Only one problem, notification lights, they seem to be on or off, I want them on for emails, messages, whatsapp etc.. but off for charging, but there just seems to be an on or off toggle, is there any way around this?

It's my upgrade day with EE... Had a look on moneysupermarket to see what new deals are available with EE. Free S6, 1000 mins, unlimited texts and 2Gb data, £24.99 per month.

EE - We don't have the 32Gb version but can offer you a 16Gb version (didn't know the S6 came in 16Gb) or 64Gb version. The deal for the 64Gb version with the same allowances - Over £200 upfront and £34.99!!!

Told them i'll wait until November lol.
 
is anyone struggling with battery life lately? I'm sure mines running down a lot quicker than before.

I've been a light user over the last week and from disconnecting at 7:00, it's powering off with a dead battery by 22:00
 
Whats everyones RAM usage like?

Mine with the Apps closed is 60% used?

How can i find out which apps are restarting in the background and disable them - using package Disable?
 
1 hour 15 minutes screen on time today and 30% battery left with 15 minutes on the charger in the afternoon.

This phone is something else damn.
 
S6 edge plus screen ?

I'm just wondering if I'm being a little bit paranoid.

With previous phones (the last three have been htc One's) I would usually fit a glass screen protector, I've used Spigen and they have served me well . As all the htc phones had flat edge screens there was no problem with fit and they stayed put.

Now I've got the S6 edge plus and am getting a bit paranoid that I should fit a screen protector.
There doesn't seem to be much around in the way of glass type screen protectors and the ones available seem to have mixed reviews.
I know the S6 edge plus has Gorilla glass 4, so do I really need a screen protector to prevent everyday scratches.

What are peoples experience with the screen, am I right to be paranoid or am I just being over cautious.

The s6 glass is prone to fine surface scratches easily in my experience.
