None removable battery, to force you to throw your 600 quid device in the bin after 2 years once it gives up, like us HTC owners.

Not really the case though is it, since no HTC has had over 32GB storage option in the past. You chose a handset that was limited but based that choice on a premium build quality. That's your fault, not HTC's :p

A lot of the negative things I am reading on various forums and sites now are being overly dramatised. In the past, the negatives of a new Samsung were quite rightly justified, but now there there is very little to be negative about, people seem to be fishing.

You're moaning about your HTC which has no relation to the S6

^ No different to the Z3 now. I can now use my Sony throughout the day and get almost no finger smudges on it. It's a skill you acquire with daily use.

Of course a tradeshow floor phone being handled by hundreds of sets of fingers in a few hours is going to be laden with smudges and finger marks!

Dear SAMSUNG PLC

NO Card And NO Battery replacement = NO PURCHASE FROM ME!!!!! None removable battery, to force you to throw your 700 quid device in the bin after 2 years!

BYE BYE RIP SAMSUNG SUCK!

GALAXY NOTE 4 are the best phone!

Standard S6 is a really bland design although the coloured backs do improve things a bit. Samsung should have been brave enough to just launch the edge version, a 32GB Edge at £550 would have been an interesting proposition.

** Fully star out any swearing ** samsung. They just copies Apple!

Samsung is going downhills. After one or two years time, people will complaint about waste of £500 to £700 of non removable battery going in the bin.

Sometimes Samsung phone is freeze and couldn't switch off the phone, have to take the battery out and put it back to restore it. I be shocked if the S6/S6E freeze phone cannot switch off phone!

As for non micro SD card is a bad move. Because if the phone is broken or sent away for repair, u cannot get all photos videos restored. And if u upgrade to new phone it taking ages to transfer 128GB storage to pc then from pc to a new phone (horrible USB 2.0 slow).

I prefer Micro-SD as a freedom easy choice. I hate u Samsung.

At least they are trying something a bit different with the edge.

I'm sure the phone will have a reset switch, similar to my Xperia Z2 that is hidden beside the sim card slot. Also, you will probably be able to get the battery replaced should anything happen, whether it's through official channels or DIY/phone medic type places. There is always a way.

USB2 for PC connection is a bit of a bummer but this, like all other flagships, supports Wireless ac, so if you have an ac router then you can benefit from faster transfers this way instead without having to touch a cable. Plenty of apps that do this from the Play Store directly and using ES File Explorer as an example it's a simple case of long press copy > swipe to the LAN window and then long press paste into a chosen folder.

My Z3 connects to my ac router at 433Mbps, for example. It's no USB3 for file transfers between phone and PC but it's a speedy and convenient one at least and with the new storage chip benefitting from faster SSD like write speeds, this is a greater option too for those who move large volumes of data to and from PC.

Edit*
Let's also not forget, products have what, 2-3years warranty? So if after 2 years we do find the battery is not holding a usable charge then simply RMA and get a new replacement handset. It's a bit of faff but by that time backup and restore procedures will have shifted even further considering it's not that much of a chore restoring to a new handset at present anyway.

Lmao.. Get something else then? :) it's hard to keep public happy I see.. Release a plastic phone with removable battery and SD.. And everyone moans about build quality.. Release something premium felling and everyone moans about non removable bits! At least they give you an option of 128gb.. About time we left the 16gb + no SD crap.

On the s6 official samsung site they state the amoled has 'real RGB' colour, they quote it themselves so not sure what to make of that, wonder if the s6 has a new screen structure,stripe-rgb like the note 4 or something even better?

http://www.samsung.com/uk/galaxys6/index.html?cid=uk_email_p0-unpacked-ctabutton_20150301

"Next is crisper
Protected by the very latest Gorilla Glass, the stunning 5.1" QHD Super AMOLED display, with ‘real’ RGB colour, delivers images and film so life-like, your only problem will be, what to enjoy next."

Also of note the s6 edge comes with 64gb at base so if it's £100 more than the 32gb s6 i might go for it.

Have there been many broken iPhone 6 phones? Or Xperias? Or Nexus purely because of no removable battery or sd?

Thought as much :p

other than the yuri geller iphones, not really. but thats not down to a removable battery etc :D

i couldn't care less if the battery was removable or not :p i'm not one of those people who feel the need to carry a spare battery with them. and to be honest, the battery isn't gonna go pop before the warranty is up anyways. :)

haven't been excited for a phone as much since the original GS2.
