**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

The thing where you can open a panel of shortcuts on the right seems a nice idea if you struggle to use your phone one handed, but seems a bit silly that its only available on the edge. No reason it couldn't work on the normal handset and would still be useful.

Obviously it's a feature intended to market the display of the edge...

Alright, sold. Camera looks great and I can definitely incorporate Gear 360/VR into my photography and be one of the first to do that in client products. Can't wait.

Yes 'obviously' it is, but my point still stands.

The whole edge thing is pretty pointless and I guess they're trying to find features to make it worthwhile, but regardless of that its a good feature that's missing from the normal version for no good reason.

So is this the snapdragon 820 or a Samsung chip? i could only see stuff on performance gains.

Prices seem competitive with the s7 being under £600.

I like the look of the keyboard cover!

Decent prices considering..

The Edge is so tempting to pre-order, but I am gonna wait for the Note 6 I think..for now...

Yeah Edge is ticking a lot of boxes to finally upgrade but I just know that I'll love the Note 6 as well so see if I can hold out for that long.

Really tempted myself, been a HTC fan for nearly a decade but they have been slacking for a while now and the S7 Edge looks amazing specially with the free GearVR but £640 is a lot for the phone.

640 + my current £21 a month or £100 + £41 a month for an inferior tariff.
