**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Thread ****

Following all the fuss over the fingerprint sensor position after a few hours it's second nature and actually quite convenient. Only downside I can see is having to use a pin if phone is flat on a desk which wasn't the case with the s7
 
I'm on a different firmware version, and bixby remapping doesn't appear to work. I had an OTA update after the device was turned on, ending AQDD
 
you can disable bixby by disabling the left hand window - just hold your finger on the main window, which lets you add extra windows, swipe right to show bixby window and disable it

bare in mind this doesn't disable the button.

I can see the edge 'swipes' annoying me (can't help it when swiping lol)
Got rid of bixby by creating a new home page - hate that it comes up when swiping to the left.

Keeping the 'bare fit' case - it's awesome - love how sleek it is yet covers all corners well.
Remainder cases going on MM (grab yourselves a bargain lol).

Have you got a link to the case your keeping? Need to sort one out as this things like a bar of soap at times.
