That's good to hear. That makes it a mighty consideration for av enthusiasts if a litle overkill. Sony might be on to something there though......a 7" version running on a stripped down build of android. That's a tempting thought.

They do a version with 2 5" screens, its a bit like a Nintendo 3DS

Virgin Media box :D

Jesus, this tablet looks nice, not gonna happen for me though, the wife bitched about me spending £89 on the touchpad...

Women just dont get it...

I presume the bit where it says you can even turn off your lights, means you would need to have hideously expensive lights installed?

The TV remote function is certainly worth a bit, those logitech remotes that do the same are damn expensive

It should work, as they are IR based. I'll test it out around a friends house and ill confirm.

:D

Also it will drain the battery quite quick keep using it as a remote. Although not much of an issue as you have a charger, but more of an issue for long term length of the battery.

That's not true! I've had a good 9 hours from mine today using it all day for you tube / web / remote testing and gaming

I really think Sony scored a serious own goal releasing this in the midst of HP Fever.. What was it a politician said at 9/11 "a good day to tell bad news"

I think Sony should have waited as it seems like a nice tablet. Did none of you guys who got one do that overnight queue to get a free TV?

I did think about it, as I am with walking distance of that Sony Center at work but I didn't fancy queuing or carting a TV around on the tubes. :D

Just picked up the official S tablet cradle and screen protector yesterday, ill try and get a few snaps uploaded shortly.

Revival time.

Probably the main tablet im interested in and although this is a difficult question to answer, do you reckon Sony Centres are flexible on price/putting a deal together?

ie chuck in accessories etc

You don't know if you don't try. :D
