NASA has finally picked the two crew casuals to go forward. SpaceX and Boeing. Not surprised going got it, but disappointed, high G, water landing is just so old tech and rubbish, and they are receiving almost $2billion more than spaceX. Reading between the lines as they have said very little on why they where chosen and why the costs.
They have said that designs and costs were submitted and they accepted them. So sounds like Boeing just showing how old and rubbish they are, develop worse tech at massively increased prices.

Feel sorry for Sierra Nevada

Although initially Dragon V2 will land under parachute with the Dracos softening the landing bit like the Soyuz. While they certify and develop powered landing.

Why is there a media black out in the first stage reusability test from CSR4.
We know it relight as there's a video (I'm assuming armature) but that's it. No statement from spaceX. They usually tweet as does elon. But nothing, nothing at all. Even the ones which didn't go to plan were tweeted. So confused why there is seemingly a media black out,
