** The Official Space Flight Thread - The Space Station and Beyond **

Official footage of Firefly's alpha test flight now released. Can clearly see one engine go out very early into the flight.

That screeching whine from the turbopumps. You can definitely tell the Reaver is a tap-off cycle engine.

A sound I'd like to hear in person.

Anybody watched any of the Netflix docu yet? I'm one episode in and quite enjoying it. It's less about SpaceX and Elon and more about the mission itself which is what I was hoping for.

What is the documentary called, wouldn't mind a look.

Inspiration 4 Q&A webcast currently on YouTube.
Interesting interviews on r4 this morning about the crew diversity, and, their relatively low experience/training time - apparently ex military, or pilots,
they made the point about the reliance on technology versus intimate knowledge of the platform, a la Apollo 13

Finally getting an update webcast from the inspiration crew. I was starting to wonder if Time/Netflix had exclusivity rights to all content.

Live at 10pm BST.
