Commander Dan Burbank and Flight Engineers Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin are home after their 165 day mission.

The Enterprise ferry flight has left Dulles International Airport and is on its way to John F. Kennedy Airport, New York. Hopefully there will be a live stream from New York around 17:00.

Well that ones been modified for the task hasn't it, plus the shuttle is made of lightweight space age stuff aren't they, they prob weigh less than a full cargo hold on an Antonov, the spruce goose kinda proved that thrust > aerodynamics and weight.

Added to that the shuttle is kinda meant to fly anyway - it carries a percentage of it's own weight aerodynamically. You can see that the shuttle is actually mounted at an angle of attack that allows it's aerodynamics to work.
