They should've listened to me when I said they should make Sea Dragon a reality.

Travis Perkins surely got some hardcore and rubble to fill that...
If true this is wild - debris rained down on houses 5 miles away
No this wasn’t explosion debris, this was take off / landing pad debrisIt was still at a fair altitude when it detonated so I guess it’s to be expected.
Those guys know the risk they take putting gear so close to the launch site, and they only get that close because Space X gave them permission otherwise the public can't be there for FAA safety reasons. I doubt insurance will pay and it's not the first time gear has been damaged
That being said if Space X feels really nice, they could cover the cost privately - they have done so previously for damage employee vehicles that have been parked too close to launches
No, this was debris kicked up during launch. Basically it ate it's own launchpad and **** it out all over the local area.It was still at a fair altitude when it detonated so I guess it’s to be expected.

I'm no rocket surgeon but I think he needs more than a large CPU cooler thereElon says they will repair the pad and install a thick liquid cooled metal plate into the pad to prevent overheating
@FBi7 is a Dervla fan.It was M&S concrete.
