Just learned there is a German word that describes the wait for Starfield...
Weltraumsehnsucht
That's me at the moment.
And the German word that describes how I feel about your post…

I can join you with this now mate. Just picked up Starfield Premium edition from members market for £40
Looking forward to beta testing for you all
I got my standard for £35 which is cool, you're dumb though paying £1 a day extra for 5 days early access That could be half a tin of baked beans the way inflation is going.
Don't forget premium also includes the first DLC (whenever that releases).
Which is why I bought premium, couldn't care less about playing it five days early, although I will!
True story. Ive never bought DLC for a game like that and by the time it comes out I'm usually so far over with the game, it wouldn't matter even if I did have a season pass.
I usually revisit when a game of the year ed comes out for like 10 quid with it all included years later.
Fair enough, but Fallout 4 without the DLC is like a full English breakfast with only the sausages.
Never finished it. Loved 3 and NV, 4 unfortunately didn't do it for me.

I'll still be trying to finish my BG3 playthrough, I need those extra 5 days! Don't get jelly coz you can't have weird animal relations in this game.
@TNA depends, if it's fallout 4 in space it will get about 10h out of me.
Bg3 (GOTY calling it now) which I gladly paid £50 for on the other hand will offer far more hours of what I expect will be much higher quality storytelling, but then we can hardly compare let's face it.
Secondly I bought a 4090 so clearly I give very little value to £ lol (not to be confused with being rich, I'm not)
Also I resent being accused of being into that kind of thing! Love is love.
PS: if this game doesn't live up to my expectations, I'm going to be so disappointed.
I think I'm most looking forward to rumple coming in the thread, asking about the game, complaining about how much it costs, then telling us he bought it anyway and then telling us how much he hates it.
Based on what little I have seen it will get a lot more than 10 hours out of me before you even get to have a go 5 days later
That is good to hear about BG3. Will check it out once it drops in price. I got burned in Divinity 2 so I am hesitent. I did enjoy Divinity 1 though.
