Starfield download size: 139gb for PC preload

So about 10 minutes to download for me, maybe quicker if it's letting me get closer to my connection maximum

I'll be playing Cities Skylines 2 on Gamepass for the first week or so, no reason not to while the game is new, I get Gamepass Ultimate for free, and it saves me spending money on games that might be almost unplayable at release.

That plus I don't get a lot of time to play games so pre-ordering/release day is kind of pointless as I might not get to play it for a week or two after release day :(
 
Did anyone order the physical Constellation Edition from Game?

I'm tempted but damn it's expensive. Plus the fact that due to where I live it'll be a few extra days on it's delivery and with crap broadband speed it'll take about 10 hours to download. How does the preload work for the physical copies?

Is there such a thing as a physical copy on pc? Not seen that in some time.

I should have been clearer, sorry - what I meant was for those that order the Constellation pack from Game, since the game code is on the memory sticky thingy, I presume you have to wait to actually have it delivered before you get the code.

Also, most if not all places in the US are sold out of the Constellation Edition but here in the UK Game doesn't specifically say so. Could be a bit disappointing to have to wait even longer for it.

I ordered one of those. Then canceled it after a month or two :cry:

Do you plan to flip your copy or is it for your collection?

Yeah. I have seen this before. Hope that is not the case as I am using a unlimited data sim temporarily which is not exactly fast. I would have to trot back to a family or friends house and use their 1gb lines.

******** all got community fibre except for me. The underground work all done, they also recently done the utility post which has the black box and wiring all done. Apparently should be available by end of the month. Hope so, that would make downloading it quicker than preloading as preloading needs to unpack which takes a while itself.
