Right, well, I'm out. Been sat trying to buy the thing for 50mins. Steam itself seems to be preventing me now, saying I've tried too many times. I'm beginning to feel like an idiot.
With all the technology, resources and systems at their disposal, you'd think they'd be able to handle this "closed purchase window" a little better. It's going to be impossible reserving one when it opens to the public.
Looks like a new member for the Unbuyable's team. PS5, XSX, GPUs, and now Steam Deck.

I was tempted to go with the 512 but couldn’t justify it, been an expensive year with buying a 3080 at the inflated prices.
Definitely more in the queue for the 512 it would seem.
Same - I think the 256GB is a good compromise - faster loading for 3-4 fat AAA games on NVME and I can always run some older/smaller games from SD.

I was 44?? of 78?? Very vague (as I cant remember) but quite far down the list which I guess is credit card processing issues!
Just fired up Steam to take a look out of interest. Saying I can reserve in Q1 2022! Hahahahah. Is this the new 30xx series?
Think I'll stick with my good old Nvidia Shield K1 tablet running gamestream. Ok it's not 'portable' per se, but it's portable in my house and given we live in the ******* apocalypse and no one will be going anywhere again after Autumn....
