I understand decks get shipped from Netherlands, what sort of timeline are we talking about to arrive ?

Took 6 days for mine to arrive. Though it went static over the weekend. I'd say the Valve estimate of 3-5 working days is pretty spot on.

I ordered mine 23/11/2025 17:40 and it was delivered by 27/11/2025 14:53. Think mine took ages to hit "Final parcel center" but then got an email 8:35am that it was out for delivery.

Mine was the same. The time it took from actually being dispatched to being in my hands was brilliant considering it came from Holland.

Received in UK 28/11/2025
Supposedly attempted deliver on 28/11/2025

So I suppose the turn around is spot on for what Valve say. I didn't end up receiving mine until 01/12/2025 as despite Saturday being a Next Working Day, they decided Monday would be a better option..

Still no update on tracking Half-Life 3 will be out by the time it arrives at this rate.

Tracking went from Pending to Out for delivery this morning and was delivered by the postman at 9am this morning.

Hardware is great easy to set up but if I’m honest I’m a bit disappointed with the compatibility most older games I wanted to play like Bioshock, Batman games etc are not compatible. Out of my 458 games only 54 are steam deck compatible. Not great really.

Unless I’m missing something ?

Load them up and see how they play. Played plenty of unsupported games that have worked fine.

Have a look on ProtonDB - search for a game and it'll give you an idea as to how games play. Worth installing the ProtonDB add-on on the Deck as well.

If you do a bit of googling about how to add the "Decky Loader" plugin to your deck, you can add the ProtonDB plugin which will how you a nice label directly in each games store page showing how compatible with the Deck it really is, which is the main advantage of the plugin. Many games classed as unsupported by Valve are only marked as such because they haven't got round to officially checking them. ProtonDB will tell you if a game runs out of the box, or if there are any minor niggles etc.
