Just-Eat grocery delivery

£10 off a £25 spend
After fees etc it's basically a fiver off, so, £20 for a £25 spend

10MARCH valid this weekend (Fri-Sun) with a limited amount of total uses

@cainer @LeeUK @Defiant306 @Firestar_3x @Tom|Nbk @Fonz-Valo @Diddums @Sone @djcj @Infidelus @VincentHanna @Gray2233

Notification didn't work for me although i did get this mailed to me from JE, I also got 50% off my next 5 orders from Uber Eats with free delivery off my next 3 orders :o
The code is UKMAR50KV so you can try it but from recent experience codes only work if they've been emailed directly to you hence i won't tag everyone in

Which app?

My bad, Just-Eat.

Vague memories of the threads ye'olden time name.

I tend to avoid it due to their not letting you see user reviews anymore, but still had a couple of stamps built up.

Not too bad tbh:

I didn't get an email or update about this, but checked the Just-Eat APP earlier and a lot of outlets are doing an Easter Weekend type thing offering £8 off a £20 spend.

I got an email for it, Says it's valid until the 6th (Monday), It's not an 'App Only' offer as it's available on their desktop website

My Just Eat+ for free delivery ends tomorrow so looks like i'll be ordering out to make the most of it,

There's only 6 restaurants taking part in the promotion for me but there's a good Italian place that does good Pizza's, They also do a rather moorish Nutella Calzone

Absolutely nothing on my end, only found out due to hopping in to finish off a stamp card and was lucky enough that they were running the deal on top.

Check your settings in personal information on JE and make sure you allow them to send you notifications for offers via email

I've been eyeballing a take away lately as a cheeky treat, which means I've been checking the obvious outlets such as Just-Eat.

Unfortunately I'm not here to share a deal, but rather warn those that frequent this thread or use the site.

It seems that they've not only removed the ability to view user reviews for outlets, but are rounding up shops to 5 star ratings that were much lower prior. Some of which have poor hygiene ratings, but a lot of "reviews" and magical 5 stars that used to be low 4's or high 3's.

Be wary unless you know the places well, it's the time of year where many just CBA due to work/Christmas stress so they're more likely to grab takeout.

Having used Uber Eats recently for the first time in several months, I noticed they now restrict the reviews as well, So you only get to see a star rating

Dunno if anyone uses Uber Eats, but they've got a boosted 8% cashback rate on gift cards on Topcashback.

It's on again this weekend as i just received an email for it, Says it ends tomorrow (12th) so can use it tonight or tomorrow, or both as it's not limited as to how many times you can use it

@Gray2233 I heard yesterday that as of the 12th of April Just Eat changed their JE+,

It's no longer free delivery for 3 months for £5.99, Now you pay £2.99 per month for JE+ Membership and get a £10 voucher once a month but delivery is back to full price :(
They say they'll be giving some special offers for JE+ members but all there is atm is free med fries at MuckDonalds when you spend £15+

Anyone who bought JE+ before the 12th of April will still get the 3 months free delivery, I last bought JE+ on the 6th of April so i got in with a few days to spare and it runs out the 5th of July

They are doing you a favour really :)

I used to use JustEat some years ago. Especially before covid. These days it is rare. Food prices have gone silly and hardly any deals to off set them.

I probably avarage 1 delivery a month these days.

Still some bargains to be had if you search about ;)

Paid £7.32 from my account credit which i funded with a gift card at 10% off so it was around £6.50 total cost to me delivered after ordering via Top Cash Back for a little extra discount

The stamp cards were the main thing that kept me using Just-Eat, the only reason I still do in honesty as I have a couple either at or near to completion.

As long as the place is trustworthy and you're a regular it can still be worth doing tbh, one of my locals that I'd go to regardless runs them as well as the 20% off Tuesday/£8 weekend things and the prices in store or on their own website aren't any different to J.E.

I very very rarely use any of these apps now, their hilarious price gouging and fee stacking whilst stiffing their staff and giving customers the finger is too much.

I don't mind paying for convenience or a service, but when you have to pay for a service charge, then delivery, that should be enough. But their need to whack 30% on top of the prices of absolutely everything is ridiculous.

Honestly, the entire point of these apps/sites/services or whatever you want to call them is supposed to be convenience. Instead it turned into necessitated outreach for an already struggling industry, that probably did more to help illegitimate shops than the genuine.

The only way I do order food at all now requires me to get some sort of deal unless I want to be ripped off, I need to check the likes of this thread. Or sign up for alerts on websites like HotUKDeals, and then I need to consider using cash back via my bank or third party websites while using 3-4 different ordering websites such as Uber/J-E/FH etc.

It was frankly more convenient a couple of decades ago where you phoned your local Chinese/Indian/Whatever and paid at the door.
