Got mine on pre-order, it's only £20.49 delivered. I like the ability to play with others on-line but also the fact that you don't have to rely on other players to have a good time, unlike LFS where all it takes is one numpty to ruin a whole race.

Thats true. There seem to be quite a few more muppets on LFS these days. Shame really... it's a great game.

Don't get me wrong, I love LFS, I think it's a great example of how a racing game should be done. TDU isn't a racing game though (although there is racing in it) so as far as I'm concerned there's no competition between the two.

You are absolutley correct.

I was actually going to download this tonight but I am having second thoughts with all these problems, plus I have received a email saying my copy has been dispatched by RMSD.

So is it released??? Did you order in the UK?

Well I got my copy from ebay, seller assures on his listing that it is genuine UK version. If it isnt I will send it back and download the version from Atari.

ebay eh? Hmm i look forward to hearing if it is the genuine article.

hi tony.

im still not convinced that gameseek have sent me it for PC. I just have this horrible feeling that they have made a mistake and sent something else.. I will confirm I have it when I have the game in my hands this evening ;)

I chased the guy at gameseek yesterday, to see if he had actually posted it, this is what he said lol ,

"Yes i promise :) i sent it myself... lol i ran into the warehouse and packed it :)
"

lol

Their website shows next despatch on that item so it could be the genuine article!

It was designed for a keyboard, oh dear god. :(

Better put this crap up for sale then.

After the implementation of vehicles in Boiling Point I should have steered clear of this title, Atari developers must take the bus to work as they haven't a clue about vehicle physics and behavior!

E-mail me with your price (e-mail address in Trust)

I just cant get into this game on the pc, i had it on the 360 and loved it. I wish it had proper support for steering wheels with force feedback and more of a simulation feel to it. Then again it is meant to be arcadey so i can understand.

The beta worked fine with my Logitech DFP wheel. I must admit i dont like FF and usually turn it off straight away. But the game IS arcadey, it aint no sim!

^^ Yeah, i suppose that where im so used to GTR 1 & 2, LFS & GT Legends. Its never really going to come close.

Hopefully with the next patch they might improve the options.....

Maybe the patch will. But i doubt it. They should be fixing bugs before features. And yes i play LFS and TDU is nothing compared to LFS.

I am looking at ordering this today, I haven't played a good racing game for ages.

I want to order a steering wheel too but I can't justify the G25.

Is there any other wheel that you would suggest?

Get a Logitech Driving Force Pro - it says its PS2 only but works on PC as well - loads of people with LFS use this wheel. It works well on TDU but you need to turn the turning degree down from 900 to 450 so that you can make the tight corners.
