I may pick up one today, ive got Wipeout, is there another that really stands out?

Depends on what floats your boat really. If its another racer, I'd reccommend Ridge Racer, otherwise there are plenty of glowing reviews for other types of game in this thread!

Hmmm ok, do you know of any sites with some in depth reviews?

Got mine today - 2 stuck on light pixels...so a little bit annoyed but the pure beauty of the unit and screen has made me forget about them.

That said - im sure i saw someone talking about some sort of utility you can stick on the memory card that you can leave to run that may revive lazy/stuck pixels? Anyone know what im talking about?

Light as in white?

I took my PSP back to MVC today, the dead pixels were too much for me to ignore, i mean 180 quid, it should be perfect.
So i pre-ordered from GAME for the next batch which should arrive on the 17th, so hopefully i will get a good one this time.

Read what you said again, Gran Turismo alway equals shown off really early released about half a decade later  :p

Seriously though its still in production, and is a direct port of GT4. A quick Google news search points towards a release in 'the next couple of months'

Just gonna add the info to the first post, white = a stuck red, green AND blue subpixels!

Update: it was two white ones.

Been running a pixel fixer for about 10 minutes and now appears to be a red one where the white was before, and a green one where the other white one was before.

Looks like its worked its magic on a few pixels so far then - ill let you know if it gets any better!

BTW - Can i access the PSP over the wireless network and copy files over to the memory stick? Or is USB the only way to do that?

Also - i can see an infrared port but cant seem to find any options to use it? How can i transfer stuff between PSP > Laptop with the infrared link?

I suppose in theory you could whack up a webpage on the local network with the files you want to copy on it, but thats the only way I can think of transfering files using the wireless (I may be missing something else extremely obvious though). The only problem would be that PSP wireless is very slow compared to USB.

The infra-red port, as far as I am aware, is included in the hardware but isn't 'implemented' yet.

it's a few pages back along with a download link, put a little elbow grease in next time.

edit : and you can't transfer from pc to psp via wifi except as already mentioned, usb and browser download on psp

i posted the pixel fixer aobut page 8 i think. it says oyu sohuld leave it running for a day straight and that has a chance of fixing them. there was a guy who posted under the linked website if i remember correctly who managed to fix about 15 stuck pixels with it. btw anyone with stuck pixels on any tft screen should give it a go, it works with all of them.

I found it just after posting and was excited at the prospect of getting the pixels fixed and forgot to edit my post. Sincerest apologies.

I have added the link to the first post ;)

Well ive picked up a copy of TOCA, and its fantastic on the PSP, could'nt get Colin Mcrae, but i was also looking at the F1 game on the Tv they had in there, and that looks pretty good as well, TOCA is ace, well worth getting, ive only had a quick game, but its great, just looks like the other consoles versions, and ive noticed no slowdowns at all when theres loads of cars around you, i can't believe how good it is.

I think they are pretty bad for dead pixels, i aint got any as i got a Jap one from a shop around here months ago, but i checked them first to make sure i didn't get any, the first 2x had a fair few, but the 3rd one was perfect so i took that, i think thats going to be the only way your get no dead pixels etc... by having a check yourself, as as i say they do seem bad for them. :)
