Actually i'll be moving into St. Mary's, 3:1 girl/boy ratio :p Didn't fancy the 10 mile commute to uni every day lol plus i think i'd feel "left out" if i wasn't living at the uni. Aidans and Mary's are two of the hill collages so we will be living on the same road.

Did you have an interview with the department/college?

Ahh right cushty.. St Marys has a really nice building/garden if i remember right? Good ratio lol.. Yea I decided on the hill because it was so close to the science site, think I have to walk through marys to get there!

I had an interview with Brendan Hodgson from Comp sci department last year (took a gap year) Really nice guy, had a mini department open day style thing. Stayed the night in college, but didn't have an interview.. You?

Had an interview with Brendan too, it was tough lol, really put me on the spot at some points and i was like **** what do i say now :p

I also had an interview with St. Mary's after spending the night there, chatting to a few students. That interview was better, more about getting to know me personally than intellectual skills.

I'm really looking forward to it, the city is beautiful in the day and there's a fair few clubs down in the centre, including the now worst nightclub in Europe after the original worst nightclub in Holland burnt down :D

Birmingham - Theoretical Physics & Applied Maths
Just had a quick look, that looks like an awesome course. Shame i sucked badly at my A-Levels otherwise I would be doing something like that. How many UCAS points were required for that course?

Well the offer's AAB with A in maths and physics obviously, and B in computing. Not sure how much that is in tariff points though.

Really looking forward to it :)

Edit: it's an MSci course btw, so four years.

Ouchy, thats 340 points if my maths is right. And you got them grades? Good for you.

They would laugh at me if I tried to apply for that course.
