Can't wait to ditch this **** Nokia 3120 or whatever the hell it is... No camera or anything......

God I hope I walk out of the CPW with a iPhone in my hand tomorrow :D

Do people really think it will be in stores tomorrow? I think you'll have more chance of meeting Red Rum at the tills than buying a 3g iPhone in the UK tomorrow :)

Engadget are reporting no dock as well, just the iPod Dock connector to USB cable (standard iPod cable) and a USB Power Adapter which you can plug the supplied cable into. I have a Universal Dock which might work but it may not be officially supported like with the V1 iPhone.

TBH im not at all impressed with the new iphone first it 3G great but were the front camera?

I mean all they seem to have done is slap a new back on it and add a few bits of software to it and so called better battery life but i bet it be only slightly better than the current iphone.

Sat Nav how will this work with a bluetooth adapter or by using 3G internet if the latter it going to cost a fortune unless you have somekind of internet package.

Things that havent beem mentioned is MMS & text forwarding plus proper bluetooth

If these haven't changed from V1 then what the point of upgrading your current iphone.

Me personally will be sticking with the V1 as i see nothing here that makes me want to upgrade Ive been holding back waiting to see what the V2 has to offer and personally im dissapoint to the point were in the last 10 minutes i just pre ordered a sim free Nokia N96

It's slightly thicker according to Engadget.

iPhone - 4.5 x 2.4 x 0.46 inches (115 x 61 x 11.6mm) and 135g

iPhone3G - Size and weight1
Height: 4.5 inches (115.5 mm)
Width: 2.4 inches (62.1 mm)
Depth: 0.48 inch (12.3 mm)
Weight: 4.7 ounces (133 grams)

Same height. Slightly wider and thicker. Bah.
I wonder if it has a GPS chip or is just "A-GPS" using existing GSM/UMTS networks or something?

Any one else sick that they paid £330 recently :p

To be honest, I don't think I'll be changing. I have sat-nav in the car, 3g would be nice, as would the battery life, but aren't essential for me. As long as I get the software side of things I'll be happy enough.

Plus, I think I prefer the aluminium back, for looks and protection.

Anyone a .mac subscriber? I've just had an email from Apple about it. I'm quite excited about it as well.
