Am I the only one that doesn't think Alex is as brilliant as the judges say? She's got a good voice, but there's nothing special about her as far as I can hear. Laura, Ruth and even Diana have a bit of character to their voices which adds something imo. Alex just doesn't stand out for me.

I personally like diana, she's very different compaired to all of the others. Alothough this week she does seem to have killed the REM classic, the last two weeks have been quite good imo.

I didn't get the fuss over her Toxic performance, couldn't hear her much and wasn't all that impressed to be fair. She did do very well with her second though thats granted.

Probably because she's never heard of her. Most of the plastic popstars today have no clue about the wider musical world or musical history. I remember one cringeworthy interview with Britney where she'd never heard of Yoko Ono
