Hey guys
I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I couldn't find the thread anywhere. I need some advice on a new build.
Bought a P8Z68-V MB & a Gainward Nvidia GTX 570 Phantom. Also running an 850W PSU & an i5 2500k 3.3ghz CPU.
When I got the GPU, I was assured that it would handle three monitors at once. This hasn't turned out to be the case, but that's beside the point. I'm running two VGA monitors & one HDMI TV. When I connected the three monitors to the GPU, I'm informed that the GPU will only power two monitors. Aside from being a little peeved at the company who sold me the card, I then attempted to connect the third monitor to the MB directly, with no success. The monitor isn't even noticed in the computers hardware.
So, my question would be; how the hell can I get this to work?
My GTX570 replaced an 8800 GTX, so I suppose I could insert the old card and have one monitor connected to that, and the other two connected to the GTX570, but I'd rather just harness the power of the one card. What can be done?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
