Wow. That was absolutely fantastic. Tense, fun, graphically brilliant, I think we have a contender for game of the year here!

Runs perfectly on my [email protected], 2gb ram, 256MB X1950 Pro, max settings, didn't feel a hint of slowdown.

I have the same (although my E4300 is at stock) so that's good to know! Btw what resolution were you playing at?

EDIT: Ignore I just saw your comment above! Can't wait to see how it runs on 1680x1050!

**Possible Spoilers**

Just finished the Demo. Played at medium settings. I found the game to be
very immersive. i love the use of plasmids. I was expecting more from DX 10 though it didnt seem to amaze me although it did look good.

The demo was quite short imo but it gives you a taster of everything like plasmids, splicers, weapons etc. Cant wait to fight a big daddy.
I did get killed a few times when i was spotted by the security cam and the two flying robot things shot me up pretty bad. Ran out of ammo and eve so a just smashed em up with the wrench :) .

All in all another pleasing game but crysis will still blow bioshock away and some more :)

Performance was very good btw :D

Meh, well I've given up. Its home time soon anyway. For some reason RapidShare is just no longer accessible from the office network. Was working, then just stopped. Can ping it and tracert it but it won't load the page on any PCs! At least I can download it on my 20meg line instead of works 8meg one..

1440x900 with everything on max and Force Global Lighting on.

Is Global Lighting a good thing?

From the readme...

Global Lighting
This enables a one-pass inaccurate lighting method for dynamic objects,
characters and dynamic lights. This will also mean that characters and
dynamic objects don’t receive shadows (although they can still cast shadows
if shadow maps are enabled). This is most observable on characters.
As they walk around the level, light influences will pop on/off when they
approach/leave lights.

Sounds like this game dont even push a HD2900XT then, does AA/AF from CCC work in this game? I'll try running it with 8xAA/16xAF when I get my rig, hopefully, judging by this performance, I may not want to upgrade to the 9800 series streight away now :D
