my hope is that anything important, linkwise, or whatever will be added to the Original post, that way it should mean new posters wont need to look through all the pages, or ask the same questions over and over again, as it may already be on the original post :)

Very High shaders makes much more of a difference than anything else, Post-Processing and Shaders on Very High is what makes it look better more than anything, the rest of the options are fairly minimal.

however at that point in time zefan had closed a thread, for attempting to discuss the full retail game of crysis, which would have possibly contained pirated material, and i did not want the same to happen to this thread, which is why i asked people not to post about the final release version until the release date.

zytok was just picking up on the fact that following immediatly on from that post was someone discussing the final retail copy.

if you have nothing to add to this threads contents, appart from trolling, then please don't ;)


edit: and from your second post i can tell all you are doing is trolling.

the fact that this is a game which is pre-release means that there is a high chance that people posting about the full retail game (ie screens, or level info) is highly unlikely to have a legal, retail copy. hence zefan asking for proof

that is the end of the discussion. it is well off topic, and it has no place in this thread!:mad:

if you have pirated it, don't post, if you have the retail copy, feel free to post whatever, aslong as if questioned you can provide proof you own the retail copy.

please keep this to game discussion, not whinging :) (not aimed at you cyber-mav)

what difficulty level are you playing it at? if it's anything below delta then yes, things like the AI will be 'worse' it's still far better than most other games.

i don't think any game lives up to its hype.

unfortunately the only games on PC that seem to be good nower days are those which take less than 3 years to release, and no one hears about it till the demo is out. unfortunatly they showcased a lot of stuff that they then took out. for what it is though it is a damn good game, from just the demo it's right up in the top 5 for me, mind you i like the innovative games more than the bog standard ones (ie i think my favorite FPS is TF2 :p)
 
hmm, mine should have been dispatched today, as i ordered it on 2 day post (which is free from a certain highstreet/online retailer) but it hasn't :( i can only hope i just haven't had the email to confirm its dispach yet :(
