Probably the hype too to be honest. It's by no means a bad game, but just not as good as we were made to believe.

i've said it before, and i'll say it again, they took a lot of good things out, that they'd already shown us, it was never going to be as good as they said wish i was going to get a good run at it before sunday, but unfortunatly i've got work, solid for fri/sat

That seams very cheep for a shop price, does the prices on Games web site match the ones in-store then?

afaik yes, i have never paid anything more at the shop than i have seen online, i could be wrong, but even so they will be selling it for less than £35

ie: bought bioshock online for £25, and it was £25 instore as well

I think you'll find most e-tailers will endever to get the game to you on the day of release! My copy from Gameplay was posted this morning....

they'd have to use a bloody good courier to get it to him for release now though

i dont know, i mentioned that i thought mentioning said competitor was against the rules yesterday, and RTM'd a post, but as nothing was done i assume it is ok ^^

anyone playing this on delta...? is it really hard.. I have played every fps on hard before but this time there is a 4th setting...

i played the demo in delta, which was alright, even playing it run and gun style it was easy enough, i have no idea how hard it gets later in the game with aliens and stuff though, i'll be playing it on delta anyways

I'd edit them out if I were you, not worth the holiday you'd be risking.

tbh it would help me concentrait on Crysis when it gets here, but yes, i will edit them, if only so i stay just stepping the line

Right click crysis link in My Games and click the one that says DX9.

i dont have that option on any of my shortcuts/in the main crysis folder. know why that is? really doing my head in now, as i want to run in DX9 with tweaks, not DX10

You have to go to Games in the Vista Start menu (thats under your pic on the start menu), and right click on Crysis in there. You wont get the option anywhere else.

nope, no option for DX9 or DX10.

bloody hell, just finally got it to run in DX9, and i'm getting double fraps screw DX10

i have a very interesting problem atm.

i use the logetch revolution mouse, which, as some of you will know doesn't have the traditional middle click, i get around this by using the seach button as the middle click (programmed in setpoint) now, yesterday this was working fine, but when i load crysis up today it does bugger all, yet it still works for things like firefox. it's most infuriating, anyone ot any idea why it's doing this?

Not many houses have middle click now anyway, its all mouse wheels in the middle what you can click :s

which is a click, in the middle of two other clicks? correct me if i'm wrong you pedant

and mrk, thats what i've said i've done, it's been fine like that since i got the mouse, and was fine with crysis yesterday, but for some reason today it's not having any of it

** How To Fix "Server Authentication Failed" **

1. Close alll instances of Crysis
2. Insert your DVD
3. Navigate to dvd:\tools\ (ie. D:\tools)
4. Execute Crysis_Code.exe
5. Enter your cd-key
6. Start the game

i'm in the VTOL bit now, all i can say is 'wow' i love this game (although i'm not great in the VTOL, so that bit may take a while )

Yea graphics were, but damn it was a lag fest for me in there.

Without having to go through the whole thread can anyone sum up the online aspect of this game, is it good, bad or great?

i like it, it's a change from the boring old run and gun
